Hello. I had a truly rewarding experience purchasing a violin from Corilon violins. First of all, the violin sounds wonderful, as I heard it sound on the recording of it which appears on the website. The packaging was done extremely well and the instrument arrived without any sign of damage whatsoever. The email correspondence with Corilon was highly professional, helpful , and courteous. I warmly and honestly recommend them to any serious buyer of fine string instruments.

It is a big advantage for violin enthusiasts that they can buy such high quality violins at such an affordable price. The beauty and playability of the instrument is outstanding. The money transaction went smoothly and fast. It was a miracle that we ordered the violin and received it at our house the next day. Thank you very much, it was a pleasure and we will gladly buy from you again

I had been stuck for some time, trying to decide between upgrading to an advanced student violin, or stretching my budget to the limit to get a bit of the tone and character I actually like in a violin. I was pleasantly surprised to find lovely antiques within my "stretch" budget in Corilon's collection, as well as impressive new instruments in a price range that I had essentially ruled out previously. I decided to order an Opus 12, which arrived safely within a few days. It certainly provides the response and resonance I need to progress, and it's also a beautiful instrument with power and character way beyond what I expected to find in this price range. Highly recommended!

The instrument received is beautiful, the vibration is beyond any instrument I have ever played. Wow. Thank you for making me discover old handmade and artisan restored violins! I look forward to my next purchase with Corilon. In the meantime I need to get accustomed to playing again, like once upon a time. Enjoying the resonance and vibration of this French violin made on from model from 1651, in 1940, and restored by magical hands at Corilon Violin! May this violin live through generations, May Corilon continue sharing beautiful works of art!

I don't liked their customer service, they won't gonna send you a video recording of their instrument , won't gonna tell you the origin of their CV Selectio Violin, they just directly tell you to go to another seller , we ain't gonna help. Their most famous excuse, Professional recording costs us, who is telling them to send Professional recording? Just send a normal video of scales or a piece. How can a person trust anyone blindly in different ocean just via a text email that we are trustworthy. All of the other companies sent me video recording and the details I asked them except corilon, poor service .

I feel so lucky that I could find a 1850s 1/4 Mittenwald violin here when my daughter is just about to change from 1/8 to a bigger one. The violin is in perfect condition as its age. My daughter is so exciting to have it and can't wait to play it with her 1/8 bow once she got it. We all love its mature and radiant sound. I will definitely continue to looking for 1/2, 3/4 and full size historic violins here during my daughter's growth.

We have purchased two violins from them. The first was an amazing value for an amazing sounding violin from about 1885. My professional level instructor was very impressed by it. Next we bought one that was not quite what we were looking for, but no worries, their return and exchange policy works just as advertised and we ended up with another excellent violin. We were very happy with the customer service and return policy. And extremely happy with the value and quality of our violins.
