This is an outstanding art museum, beautifully designed. There is a permanent collection of German art which has many highlights; it has its origins in the collection of the industrialist whose name the museum bears. The attraction for us was a special exhibition of works of Egon Schiele. The arrangement of the works was excellent, the choice of works of other artists to provide context and the commentaries provided equally so. A great experience! And the café was good too, and not overpriced (unlike what is often the case in art museums).

I preferred the gunther gallery at modern museum, i was here for shiele but was temporary. I reported to remove this picture. A nice building is also woth to see.
