Had this Café/restaurant integrated into several medium length bike tours (60-80km) around the south of Munich as an intermediate stop: Excellent quality of food, range of dishes great, very friendly staff. Nice to sit outside, too. Being lakeside it is an interesting option to pack some swimming trunks and a mini-towel and take a short dip in the water to refresh. Funny fountain in the front - nice optical effect! Nice woodcraft on sale at the main entrance - the little piglet now has a place in our living room! :-)

The reception and waiters were very friendly. The food is expensive but that is expected given the location and view of the Steinsee. The veggie burger was only ok, and not worth the price. Fish filet was very good. The place is quite pleasant to be in.
Beautiful place and pretty nice food. Staff are very friendly and the Steinsee lake in the background is amazing and peaceful. Love it!!

I like this place, near the lake. Quite busy in summer. Kaiserschmarrn is really good. And I definitely want to come back to try the burger! Worth a visit !
