This sculpture stands in tribute to Johannes Brahms and sits outside the Laeiszhalle theatre. The sculpture is a piece of modern art and I think it's supposed to be an allegorical reference to the musical flow of the works of Brahms, represented in the form of flowing water. Please just stick to statues!

Furchtbar. Die Idee eines Monumentes für Brahms ist ja an sich gut, aber dass es immer irgendetwas abstraktes sein muss gefällt mir persönlich überhaupt nicht. Ein schönes Standbild wäre mir lieber.
