I lived in Mannheim as a child. I never knee of this place. I love it! Absolutely lovely!

A rather expansive Baroque palace... too plain looking for my taste, only the middle section remains as a palace (or more accurately a museum). the rest has now been converted to a university. Worth visiting inside! awesome architecture and furniture and tapestries.

Beautiful castle in the middle of the city. Makes the city scape lot more attractive. It also a unique piece of baroque architecture. Highly recommended to visit. It is one of the must visit places in Mannheim. It is also serving as a university building for the Germany renowned - Mannheim University. Very impressive architecture and a breath taking view. A renowned tourist attraction in the city and Highly recommended for tourists.

A sublime historic palace. You get a recorder device to listen about each and every wall and hall of the Palace.

I am not sure what excites everyone so much..there is literally nothing original in the building. The whole thing is built new and most of the furniture is barely original. If you want to see a real palace, then go and see Schönbrunn Palace in Austria. As with many German small museums, they tried to make a story without much content inside. Outside it looks cool!

A huge building in U shape. Most part is being used as University I understand. Mostly renovated. It would be little boring to visit this place with out a guide.
