Jerome was an excellent host all around. We enjoyed his company and we enjoyed tasting many of the local wine varieties. Jerome was very knowledgeable of the region and how the topography helped to product the wines the area is known for. We enjoyed the tour of Kloster Eberbach very much and its tie in to wine history. We also thought the visit to a local winery with their wine cellar was fun and informative. For tasting (and lunch), the Vinothek Rheinwelt was a great stop. The main thing we would have liked to have seen would have been visiting an actual vineyard and seeing the process from that starting point.

If you're in the Mainz area and looking for a first rate day excursion, Jerome and BottleStops will not disappoint. Two friends and I spent a lovely day exploring the Rheingau or Rheinhessen regions, Jerome's your guy. He provides color commentary on the region and wines, comfortable transportation and an overall thoroughly enjoyable experience. If/when we're back in the area, we all agreed that we'll be looking for another tour with Jerome. Outstanding!

We had a daytime winery tour and the evening wine tasting and historic city tour with Jerome. Both were really great. Jerome is a wonderful host - very friendly, knowledgeable entertaining. Highly recommended!

Jerome was great! Even though it was raining we still had an enjoyable experience due to his knowledge on the wine and area. Would recommend to anyone interested!

Jerome was an excellent guide to our small group of 5 and very well versed with the wines we were tasting that day. At the very first stop he pointed me directed to Keller's Pettenthal and I right away I knew that Jerome was our go to guy for German wines. We even discovered a newer producer together, Staatliche Weinbaudomane Oppenheim, who's Glock vineyard GG stood out against some of the bigger names at the tastings. Great wines, great scenery, great lunch, and great guide- makes for an excellent day. I highly recommend wine tours with Jeromeand BottleStops!
