We came here after an advice from a friend from Lübeck. The restaurant has a great atmosphere in the evening with the candles lighting up the lower and upper rooms. Nonetheless we didn’t like the fact that no credit card payment was possible ! It was only after having asked to pay that the waiter told us that. I would certainly expect that even in the historic restaurants a credit card payment would be an option nowadays. We were also very surprised to notice that the 2 waiters were bringing the soup together with the main dish. Meaning that I was eating my soup as the main dish was already waiting on the table and cooling. Maybe it is something you should ask at the moment of ordering your dishes.

5 They would get a better rating if they start accepting cards! It's 2019 for god sake! Also, it smells of pond cigarettes.
