Paws Destiny Rescue e.V. is rated 3 out of 5 in the category philanthropy. Read and write reviews about Paws Destiny Rescue e.V.. What is the problem? Costa Ricas stray dog and cat population is huge, estimated at over a million. And the number is growing, since dogs and cats are not neutered/spayed. Unfortunately, these animals do neither have a regular water or food source, nor a place they can call home. Many of these animals do not only struggle with hunger and thirst, but also with health issues, some are even life threatening. The country has no financial opportunity to solve this problem and local shelters are too crowded. Local organizations are giving their best to help all these animals, however, medicine, food and all the other supplies are expensive. What is the solution? Bringing all the local and non-local (international) organizations together will definitely make things easier. Working together for one reason, makes us all stronger and difficulties can be solved faster and more easily. In addition, we are emphasizing international adoption, in order to give all these loving animals a forever home. People's awareness will be stronger: The more people know, the more people care, the more animals can be rescued. Building up different locations in Costa Rica, allows us to work efficiently and cover more territory, what enables more animal rescues. What is the plan? Our plan for Costa Rica is to build up different locations in different territories, so as to handle rescues more easily and enable emergency cases to quickly get help. With the support of our partners and investors we plan to grow in the next few years, in order to build up even more Paws Destiny Rescue sanctuaries in different countries. Our ultimate goal is to stop the suffering of stray dogs and cats, find them a loving forever home and create a healthy and happy future for as many animals as we can.
