This is definitely not a four-star hotel. The standard of the bathroom was equivalent to 1*. The free of charge minibar (beerwater) was a nice touch however it was supposed to be re-filled on the next day but it wasn’t. The housekeeping left empty bottles and empty coffee cups outside of our room where they were left for the entire day and night. Only one coffee capsules per room per stay. A bit ridiculous because it was 2 of us. The hotel should be classified as 2, 3* at most.
Very nice, spacious and comfortable rooms. Staff were very helpfull and kind. I wouldnt doubt to come back in the future.
Great place to stay if you're in Berlin. The staff are great, the rooms are spacious and they have a wonderful breakfast. There are nice facilities in the hotel and it is cozy. The coolest thing was when we went back to our room one day and found they had left a smartphone that is loaded with a data plan and calls that we could use during our stay. It made a world of difference since we could easily use GPS without an expensive roaming data plan and we had information loaded on it about all the places we could visit.
Really enjoyed our stay. Room was spacious and very clean with an added touch of free beers and water each day in our fridge. Staff were most helpful and super friendly. Hotel location excellent- short walk through some lovely cobbled style streets to Alexanderplatz. Also delightful Italian restaurant beside the hotel right beside the canal. Would recommend a room with aircon in the summer. Will surely be back :)
