Great location, very cosy room, a lot to explore in the hotel! Unfortunately, the SPA was closed this time. Definitely will come back again!

The only place to stay in Düsseldorf ! Fantastic service. Fantastic rooms with unbelievably comfortable beds and silky-soft bedlinen. Beautiful champagne breakfast / brunch. Relaxing spa. Quality restaurant and bar.
Traditional setting with contemporary amenities. We enjoyed having a drink at the bar in the evening and large variety of items to choose from at the Contential Breakfast! Convenient location, close to opera house. Manager welcomed us with the warm fire in the large fireplace in the lobby and some refreshing drinks!
The check in time was average but not very friendly. There was very little explanation on where the room is and the lift. I was just let myself searching this complex hotel. First room was not clean and the light was constantly flickering. I changed next door which was better but the air conditioning/ heating isn’t working properly. For the new room the room key wasn’t handed to me so I had to go down and pick it up. Lined up and the staff told me his colleague will handle it. I had to go to the second line and line up once again. I don’t think there is much customer service training or is this the German culture ? Or is it because I am asian ? Overall it is spooky and quiet not sure if I can recommend my friends to book this hotel. I stayed two nights at the Hyatt house just next door which was much more professional as you would expect from a decent hotel. Medici....still has lots of room for improvement. Especially the staff attitude
Truly classy 5* hotel which can be easily compared to hotels from James Bond's movies.I will come back here with true pleasure!
It was the central location that was very good. It is near the Altstadt but also near the shopping zone. The staff was nice and super friendly. Although they gave us the wrong key card jacket (stayed another room) We had a good time at the bar. And the restaurant "Stadthaus Brasserie" is excellent. We were a little disappointed with a few things. 1)the complimentary coffee was one of the worse. Is was the instant packages that tasted like cardboard. There were no snacks available in the room nor in the lobby. We were told to go outside somewhere to buy from the kiosk. (Not very convenient). The hotel is dog friendly, although they do not provide dog amenities (I.e. dog bed or bowl which some hotels do)
This hotel does a great job of melding old world art and class with new school amenities. The front staff is very accommodating and speak a variety of languages for tourists from all over. The morning breakfast is also incredible.
My favourite go to hotel when visiting Dusseldorf, love the fireplace, cosy and elegant breakfast settings and great location.
