Unfortunately because of time there is just this image of the kirchewarf. However there are quite striking images of the interior on the internet. This image re-enforces the idea that the ground is rather unsteady to be able to build tall steeples for the bell as there is a short bell tower next to the kirke instead of the usual above the entrance. This image also shows the parking space for the church as well as the close proximity of water to the interior of the island generally. The cows were nearby the kirche across the road. You can see by the cows hair that there is a strong wind usually. This also is indicative of the rather hard life on these islands as the cows have to be herded up to high ground if there is a storm warning, especially if there is a Spring Tide at the same time. That is when the Sun and Moon are coincidental or opposite, not just during the springtime.

Die Kirche liegt auf einer Warft auf der Hallig Langeneß. Der Blick geht von dort über einen Großteil der Hallig auf das Meer. Das Innere des Gebäudes ist sehr schlicht, aber trotzdem sehr stimmungsvoll und beeindruckend geradezu meditativ.
Schöne Kirche. Toll zum Innehalten. Gerade wunderbar renoviert.
Interessantes Bauwerk, ein Besuch auf der Hallig der sich lohnt.
