Great hotel. Close to public transportation, pubs and restaurants. Comfy big beds, cleaned every day, shower big enough for big man. Nice and big spa with many saunas, pool, whirlpools, etc. Sauna world is NUDE! Be aware of that. No swimming wear allowed in the water or saunas (for some it is obvious but not for all ;)) Overall good stay.

The highlight of this hotel is the spa area: the pools, hot tubs and saunas. Note that these are nude facilities but you will still be allowed if you're not! The rooms were clean, modern, quite spacious for the price and very quiet at night. A good view onto Maritiuskirche as well. A tram stop of the same name is right nearby with the number 9 tram, although there are bus services and the underground within walking distance.
Clean, comfortable, nice to relax in the spacious spa and sauna area and in a great location.
It is a well located hotel, our room on the 5th floor was like an oven so really wished there was air con. My own fault but did not realise the pool area allowed nudity, travelling with teenagers made this awkward! The room was clean but not in all areas.
The pool was cool, but the staff not so much. Profiling in the pool area...told our group to quiet down as if we were the only ones making noise. Unacceptable.
I would rate this hotel overall as 2 for price it is available for. The only advantage is that it is located in the city centre . Staff is unprofessional , they are freindly but they really are chaotic. Thy could not provide us a detailed bill with all services we were charged for. Spa is small and prices are high for the quality and services they offer.
Bit underwhelming for the price. Staff is not very welcoming , we didn't had any information about the opening ours of the pool, restaurant etc. Even Not in the room. The photo's online are so not the reality. very very small room in real life in comparison to the pictures you see. Staff at bar is not friendly or welcoming. The room is so disappointing, Its so dark and the only light switch is next to the door. You cannot turn of the light without going out of bed. The plug is placed ridiculously far away from your bed, and the other side doesn't even have a plug. View was not good, lot of ventilation sounds. The breakfast was a big let down, we came at 9AM and the bacon was hard and only three pieces left. The eggs were cold, the bread was hard. Do not recommend. Positive things; pretty bathroom, but water from shower runs over floor . The area is good though, close by the center. It's a good thing Cologne has so many sightseeing and walking, this hotel is really pure for sleep. Do not recommend the sauna wellness area.
