It is a hostel, but maybe a 2 star hotel as well. Wouldn't go if you are a family as a lot of schools go there. Great though

One of the best hostels I've ever been (and I've been in more than 30). The private bathroom looked really fancy for a hostel, and to be honest, the buffet for breakfast was like a 5 stars hotel. Everything was clean and looking very nice. The staff was also very attentive. I will definitely come back if I'm ever in the city again. Congrats!

Wonderful and well priced hostel in a convenient location. We enjoyed a room for 3 with own toilet, well furbished and renovated. Wonderful breakfast, friendly atmosphere and the staff were really helpful with everything.

Although it is called Hostel Köln, this hotel offers private rooms. The personnel is very nice and the rooms clean and comfortable. Location is perfect and the breakfast fullfilling too :) I usually stay here for my business trips and it is the first hotel I check for availability when I need to be in Köln!
