It is different taste. And especially if you like Indian cuisine because it was similar. Some of them are a bit spicy for people who is not used to. I recommend it. Not extreme enough but it worths.

Cozy family restaurant with typical flavours of Ethiopia and Eritrea. The food is very tasty (has lot of oil though), but it takes long time in being served, I guess they prepare everything at the moment (don't go there if you are in a rush). The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The table carpet was not very clean.

Delicious food. Tried the vegan platter for 2 people. 7 curries and Ethiopian Bread with that, plus Banana Beer (YES, BANANA.. they have mango, passionfruit and lager beer also). If you are in Kassel.. Must Try .. The 5 star rating is for the food and also for the staff working there. Very friendly .. Very cool with Ouzo shots at the end.

The place offers nice plates to share with your friends. But they also offer great single meal dishes in case your not up for sharing. All options are great, from meat, to vegetarian to vegan options.

English speaking service and English menus available. I came in and asked for a table for just one person: first a waitress said it wasn't available (many tables were empty), then another waiter told me I could have my place. Misunderstandings do happen. Anyway, I cannot give 5 stars because a lady (only German speaking and with clear mental issues), sitting close to me, took my chicken stew and put her hand into my pot. What a disgusting and repulsive sight. I told the first waitress of this 'problem" and she asked me if I wanted another chicken stew. I declined, still feeling my stomach twisted for the disgust, and went to pay. I paid the full meal, which it was not fair in my opinion, although the little I managed to eat was super delicious. Nevertheless, I would come back, providing no other crazy people sit next to me...
