Awesome place for kids, very nice place for adults as well! At first sight, the place looked simple, but the more you look, the more details you see. Details that were carefully thought, built and placed. Many educational expositions, countless playgrounds, charming streams, bucolic paths and a gorgeous lake! The animals are cute and very nicely kept, in semi-natural habitats. The institution is also actively involved with preservation projects, which is very commendable from this type of institution. To sum up: educational, fun, relaxing and inspiring experience. I definitely recommend it!

Three stars is being nice. Americans — or maybe adults? — will be vastly underwhelmed here. I went to 6 feedings and saw maybe 20 animals total, which is about 30 less than I saw in a cafe in Japan. 2 ferrets, 2 badgers, 6 otters, 6 chickens, 2 dogs (yes, dogs), 2 ermine. If you don’t go to the feedings I believe you will see maybe 6 animals (including the dogs). On the plus side, it’s a really nice outdoor space with a lagoon and small creek. The animal enclosures are large. It’s great for fresh air. However, you can walk from one end to the other in 15 minutes max, and 11 euro entry is steep for what you get. Subtract a star if you don’t speak German. (I don’t.)

It's just an awesome walkabout that teaches you stuff about mustelidae. The keepers seem to love their work and you're giving back to nature ever so slightly

Absolutely loved this place! You can see all sorts of beasties from the marten family: otters, iltis, pine marten, mink, ermine and especially badgers! There are many designated feeding times where you can see them up close. Well worth the visit and a beautiful park to walk around in with many interesting facts explained along the route.
