Been there two times! Everytime I was there the staff at the reception desk are friendly until I say I can’t speak German very well then they became so racist. I tried to speak German although my English is a lot better. I showed them my (non-German) passport as they have asked for. Took a document to them for an update of a personal matter. But they refused to take it because they said the stamp on the document is not valid! It is a valid and original court document! But from their bare eyes they said it is not a correct stamp! Very very disappointed. Even my review here won’t change anything, but for the sake of other visitors or my next visit, be prepared for such a very bad service. It seems from my ‚bare‘ feedback right after my two visits there, they might have more power to decide than the legal document you brought to them! Unbelievable public service here!!

Mixed information from employees about what documents they could or could not process (I was unnecessarily sent to a central amt) but generally quite friendly and efficient. I now happily have my German ID card and passport.

Ich musste das Amt vier mal in 1,5 Jahren aufsuchen, jedes Mal sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, schnell und kompetent. Einmal hatte ich einen neuen Kollegen da, er hat sich unglaublich bemüht alles richtig zu machen, hat sich nicht gescheut bei seinen Kollegen nachzufragen. Erklären sehr geduldig die Sachen, wenn die Mitbürger nicht so gut deutsch sprechen (am nachbartisch mitbekommen ). Ich gehe gerne hin!

Habe vom 18.9.2020 die Quittung bekommen für meinen Antrag eines Führungszeugnisses, doch bisher ist bei mir keins angekommen. Ob der Antrag überhaupt weitergeleitet wurde? Telefonisch ist das Kundenzentrum nicht erreichbar , ins Gebäude kam ich ebenfalls nicht, wurde regelrecht unhöflich abgefangen mit dem Hinweis ich müsse halt warten, wegen corona dauert alles länger.
