Nice place. Relative humble for an otherwise traditional church

A moderate Gothic basilica from the fourteenth century, that is the old university church of Saint Albani: Our university counts to Germany's most renowned and historic instutions of teaching and research. Scientists graduated from there have changed our world through history. The architecture of the many faculties is as manifold as their fields of study: there are older buildings from the enlightenment within the town centre. The city has grown, so does the university. Modern structures like the northern campus are composed of grey concrete facades as well as the latest edifications. Brutalism meets Urbanism, sort of innovative discord, you are asked your invidual approach

Das Gelände der St. Albani Kirche ist wirklich sehenswert. Ein Innenhof mit Parkbank lädt zum verweilen ein. Auf der Website des ev.-luth. Kirchenkreises kann man bequem die Gottesdienste einsehen. Wöchentlich findet dort ein Kindergottesdienst parallel zum Hauptgottesdienst statt, bei jüngeren Kindern können die Eltern immer gerne mitkommen. Neben toller Konfirmandenarbeit gibt es u.a. auch häufig ein Kaffeetrinken im Gemeindesaal nach dem Gottesdienst ( meist Sonntag 10 Uhr).

Schöne Kirche, netter Pastor, tolles Team. 1 Stern Abzug, weil die Medientechnik zwar ausreichend vorhanden ist, es dennoch aber oftmals zu Übersteuerungen etc. (Lautsprecher fiepen...) kommt.
