I don't know what to say... I called them for an appointment and when my wife was there they told her that all information is available on the website.... and most questions will be answered after you made the contract. It is also not possible to do a test day or lesson and the best thing, if you are sick for a longer period the missed time will not be added afterwards, meaning you just lost this time, which is absolutely ridiculous taking the price into account. So to sum it up... for me an absolutely no go!!!!

I have participated in two different four week, intensive, advanced German classes at Goethe Institute in Bonn. The teaching faculty and staff were wonderful. They use the latest adult learning methods and technology, allowing much interaction with classmates, one on one, and in small groups, while systematically working through a text book, focusing on expanding vocabulary and understanding of grammar. I especially liked the planned excursions to experience more of other German cities and culture, while building relationships with people from other classes. Language learning is a life long process and Goethe Institute really helped me to focus on the areas of the language where I can improve. Thank you very much for a very positive learning experience and the friendships that developed.

Sadly, Would not recommend. Although Bonn is a beautiful city, and The institut is in a great location, the teaching staff, in my experience, were not kind, and the place seemed more of a boarding school than a fun place to learn german. Next, the dorm students live in while studying was a disaster. There is no ventilation, a “kitchen” which has no microwave and only a hot-plate stove top, and washing machines that do not work and take the tokens that you pay for. Additionally, my dorm along with others I knew would lose power if the stove top was turned on. If you are looking for an enjoyable experience learning german abroad, I suggest just traveling and conversing with locals or looking elsewhere.
