We went for the food and entertainment. Everything was wonderful! Food was delicious and the music was fantastic. When we go back into town we will definitely be dining there again!

We went there to have the traditional style Bavarian meals. They have lodging also. The food were good, big potions, prices were reasonable and very superb customer service. The waitress was so friendly and they were wearing their traditional outfits. We'll be back one day.
Very nice place! Has a restaurant with Bavarian entertainment underneath, the rooms and beds are very comfy and a huge plethora of towels are available.
A great restaurant with excellent Bavarian food. Definitely visit here if you are in Partenkirchen. I had the Garmiertes Sauerkraut which was very good. A lively atmosphere and a great location.
Such a cute hotel! The have a nice view, great restaurant and atmosphere. Feels like I traveled back in time! And they had the fluffiest blanket. I slept like a kitten.
My husband and I stayed here this last February, and absolutely loved it! It is the most quaint place, with the most incredible food. They have live music and dancing in the restaurant most nights, which is just so fun and gives you an authentic German experience. The staff is so friendly and knew us personally, and remembered our name each time we would come down for breakfast or dinner. They even remembered whether we preferred coffee or tea, etc. and would get what they remembered we liked the moment we sat down. The rooms are small, but have everything you need and are decorated adorably. After all, you visit Garmisch to get out and explore! The best part about this place is the restaurant and staff, and the authenticity. The food is some of the best German food in Garmisch. People go to Gasthof Fraundorfer because it's one of the best restaurants around. As a guest, the breakfasts were to die for! Meats, cheeses, breads, eggs, fruits, cereals-- all high quality, all fresh, and so much more delicious than in the US! They gave us a bus card so we were able to take the bus for free anywhere that we didn't feel like walking to (although we enjoyed walking very much). The bus stop is just right around the corner! Highly recommend! Thank you, Gasthof Fraundorfer for such a wonderful stay and such incredible memories!
Delicious food, fun and prompt staff, live dancing, and perfect beer. Recommend this local for large groups. Plenty of space and the live music was fun too
As an American visiting this place three times during my trip, I can say that it is some of the best German food I have ever had. The prices are very fair and the service is very good; they serve Paulander which is my favorite. This is a very popular guest house and you may have a hard time finding a table but they try and accommodate as best as possible, I recommended a reservation.
