Although I only made my booking the night before, they were able to confirm my reservation the morning . Convenient location in town centre. Very good customer service provided by the lady staff at the counter

My girlfriend & I had reservations for a car days beforehand, along with confirmation number. We get there the morning of our trip & the lady at the desk made us wait outside in the rain while she went & gave another lady a car. Then she proceeds to come back & let us in only to tell us our reservation was cancelled due to there being no more cars... She was extremely unprofessional & unapologetic about the entire situation. We received no call or email beforehand telling us it had been cancelled. I might add that there was a noticeable change in her behavior once she realized we were not Germans.

The lady was very helpful with making our transaction. I reserved our car through online third party. I didn’t realize how long it was going to take for us to travel by train from Munich to Garmisch-Partenkirchen so I made a mistake on the time we would be picking it up. They had rented the car we were supposed to have, but she was able to get us a van, which was ok because they didn’t have anything, and it didn’t cost us anymore. She said if we came back after the weekend, she would be able to get us back into our original reserved car which we did and everything worked out great!

We paid more to book a premium car - Mercedes C Class or equivalent - but we given a regular small SUV. When I asked the agent at Europcar she said that was an equivalent car, but it definitely wasn't. I could have booked the car we were given much cheaper at other rental agencies, so I feel ripped off.
