It's old, smells weird, you can't find a pool where you can really have fun, like the one in Farchant, here you're just swimming lanes, jumping from a driving board, using one of the two fun water slides, or in the warm pool. There is this one lifeguard who just has an arrogant way of existing, so I wouldn't recommend going there if you want to have fun. As always, the food and drinks are expensive. This is only my opinion and my experience, it can be different for you.

Great local pool with a few different pools and slides. We went there at Easter and it was way way too cold for any outdoor swimming, but the indoor pools were fun. The main pool has a wave machine in it which made really big waves. We were there for an hour and the wave machine was only put on once but it lasted for what felt like a long time. It was super good fun. The kids' pool has a waterfall type umbrella in the middle and a powerful fountain spray up thing, but again these only came on once while we were there. Beside the main pool there's a terrifying diving pool, which was being used by some terrifying pre-teens. We stayed well clear. There are also are some cool looking flumes, but these weave in and out of the building and, again, it was simply too cold. There's free parking outside, the staff are friendly, the changing facilities are clean, the lockers easy to use and the hair dryers are (wait for it.....) free to use!! The no-charge hair drying was what swung the 5-star review but it's also just basically a good fun swimming pool.

I saw some of the complaints in other reviews but we had a great time. With your tourist pass if you stay in Garmisch you get free access for one day (note that you cannot leave and return though). The place has a lot of pools including for little ones, a wave pool, an Olympic pool for laps, a hot pool at 32 and two awesome slides; one regular which turns round and round and one that is just a drop. There are pools inside and outside, a play area and the staff was great. One issue I can agree with is that the hours and what is open can change randomly it seems, as the sauna was closed when we went. Also note some items cost extra including hot tubs or the sauna. Still we had a blast.

Great pool for families. In doors and out doors. Baby pool. Slide and diving boards. Quite cheap. 13 Euro for 3 hours for family of 4. You can also buy a ticket for all day and sit outside on the grass and enjoy the fantastic views. Well worth a visit.
