Had my dog shipped over here from the states and the animal lounge was where I picked her up in Frankfurt. A great team that cares for animals as if they were their own. They took her out and gave her some water that made her happy. Customs is right down the street. The gate is a little funky to get into but you can find it if you keep your eyes open. Well if you need someone to ship your animals this is the place to go.

We have alot to say, so much I'm going to write a blog about the experience later today. I'll update this review with a link when it's finished. Bottom line, they provide the service you pay for. They keep animals safe and are the best option for international pet transport. That said, there's lots of hidden processes (and costs) and I'm going to dig into all of that today. For now, enjoy this heartwarming picture of my honey finally getting her kitty back after almost 2 years.

My two cats arrived at the airport as cargo. I did the customs and veterinary procedures myself. It took around 2 hours and the people from the animal lounge were very nice and helpful. While I did all that the people from the lounge took great vare of my cat. But it cost quite a lot of money. That's why it is only 4 stars

Still in the middle of getting my pet, but so far very good. People are very patient and really helpful. I have never done this before so they walked me through the process and answered all questions I had right away.

I went here to bring my dog to Germany. There is a free bus from the airport (tor 25 west bus at the station across the street in front of terminal 1 arrivals) that will drop you off very close. The staff was nice, but the process itself is not streamlined. You have to stop by a couple different offices inside the pet lounge to get documents checked and pay for import fees, then walk 350 yards to customs (to fill out a form and get your documents stamped), and back, before you can get your dog (after paying the boarding fees). Again, the staff was very nice, and very helpful. They also loved my dog and treated her very well for the 2 nights she stayed with them. The attached documents are given to you at the pet lounge and do a decent job of outlining the process.
