I had a terrible experience with Sprachtreff Frankfurt and strongly warn anybody against enrolling in their courses. I would be putting 0 stars here if I could!! I used the online form on their website to register my interest for a class. I never received enrolment confirmation from them by post (as promised in an email sent following my completion of the online form). I decided not to contact Sprachtreff and ask for the course confirmation as I did not want to take German lessons with an organisation that did not follow up/ value their customers. Two months later I received by post a bill for the course - a course I never enrolled or participated in! I made contact with the manager of Sprachtreff by phone and email, and finally by written letter, explaining the situation and asking him to please retract the bill as there had obviously been a misunderstanding. He ignored my initial email, refused to reason with me over the phone, and did not respond to my written letter. Without contacting me further sent the matter to a debt collector. I was forced to pay the EU420 bill to the debt collector (for a course I never went to!), as I cannot afford to hire a lawyer to fight this. I believe this business exploits international people living in a country in which our rights under consumer law are not clear due to the language barrier.

I've taken an Italian course at Sprachtreff which was very nice ! Sprachtreff feels like a Living room, the teachers are very helpful and everybody is always welcome.
AVOID!!! Bildungsurlaub course: my 30 hours were reduced to only 12, the rest were "self-studio" at home. Even worst: German authorities said I was right and could file a suit against them, but not worth due to costs.
Yes! thats true that owner is really rude sometimes, she always behaves so nice in first meeting but once you are in she becomes rude.. you cant talk her everytime, she behaves so rudely but the other staff is nice. they always try to help you.... And teachers are also nice. I have came across Michaela, Tittiana, Victoria, Katarina and Manuel Muhl in which the only German and best among all were Manuel.... If you guys wanna take a course here then must make it sure you are going to be in Manuels class.
The school administration have no respect for their customers. Discourtesy, rudeness and unfriendliness are their main characteristics. After you sign your contract, you're nothing to them. And, taking advantage of the foreigners, they're trying to ripp you off by prolonging your course without any prior notification and even if you terminate your course in time. Being charged extra money for the course I've already paid for - that's my experience. I guess they don't value their reputation at all, if they cheat on their customers this way and are not ashamed to provide such poor service. Be careful. I don't recommend this school at all.
Good language school, big selection of languages and courses, fair prices, very friendly staff.
This is a Terrible school. Stay Away!! The onwer is rude and only cares about money. Bad teachers, just a waste of time!!! Go to VHS or Inligua, Berlitz anything but this....
Tolle Atmosphäre, netter Kurs, wir waren zu dritt im Polnischkurs und das war unheimlich effektiv. Supernette Lehrerin - hat uns mit polnischen Süßigkeiten verwöhnt und viel von Land und Leuten erzählt. Klasse war auch der Sprachabend, Sprachparty. Da kann man jeden 1. Freitag im Monat in lockerer Atmosphäre Konversation üben. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert!
