On our family trip to Frankfurt after shopping in the City. Then off to a playground for the little one. We wanted a place to sit and enjoy some Mexican food. After randomly looking on the web. El Pacifico was our choice. So happy we made the choice. Although we hadn't made a reservation. We were given a table and quickly seated. Service...A1...food...top notch. Atmosphere....Great. Definitely will go there again. I recommend visiting and enjoying some wonderful food. Parking wasn't great...but...it's Frankfurt.
I go to Pacifico about once every 1-2 years for the past 15 years. The food changes considerably each time I visit and has varied from average to outstanding. On my most recent visit this month (July 2019) we were pretty happy overall. Portions were huge and everything tasted fresh. They have the best homemade nacho chips in Frankfurt by far. The salsa variety is also nice but lacking any really spicy options. The only frustrating part of our experience is the sloooooooow service. Like most restaurants in Germany, they don't hire enough staff to properly take care of the number of tables they have. We would have easily ordered twice as many drinks if we could have. Maybe offering pitchers of margaritas could be a solution to this problem.
I’ve lived in Germany for past 6 1/2 years and being from Chicago I’ve enjoyed Mexican food with spice. I’ve visited many places here and could not find that. One day while doing my laundry I had a taste for Mexican food. I just moved in the area and googled Mexican food our Pacifico came up. I drove by later to check it out. From the outside you would think it was a seafood place. But upon looking at the menu closely at the entrance it was definitely Mexican food. Placed an order for drink and food. my food came I was overjoyed with the presentation and the taste. Service was friendly she spoke great English even though I tried with German. The portioning was big for person even with my appetite. Best Mexican food I’ve had here. Would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation and it’s very reasonably priced this will be the only place I go for Mexican food until someone can prove different.
