This is a really cool and cozy museum. Knowing some German is a must. The space is quite intimate and the building dates back to the fourteenth century. Most of the cartoons are political and deal with current social issues. Many are quite irreverent. Quite a few - especially in the permanent exhibition - are associated with representatives of the so-called New Frankfurt School. The place might not be particularly exciting to very young children. It is definitely one of the museums to visit when you are in town.

Nice place with lots of jokes, caricatures and comics. Some of the jokes and images are 18 so make sure not to bring your kids :) Note that almost all the jokes are in German, without translation to English. Also, they have happy hours from 5 to 6 PM when entrance fee is half the normal. The hour is perfectly sufficient to make a full round on the museum
In a beautiful old building. We discovered an interesting and fun author. Service was great.
The museum is really well organized but I do not recommend it if you don't speak German since you won't be able to understand what's written
Very interesting place and worthy a visit. The staff is really nice and give a brief introduction when he knows that you are here the first time. Dankeschön!
Interestin but especially for german politics caricatures. Otherwise will be difficult to understand the exposition at all.
Humor is a blend of sad truths. This museum depicts the Titanic artworks poking fun at German chancellors Helmut Schmidt, Helmut Kohl, Uwe Barschel, Gerd Schröder, Joseph Ratzinger, Angela Merkel, Robert Habeck.
Nice place for spending a couple of hours. German is a must. You also got lockers at the bottom floor to put your jackets and bags in during your visit.
