Charming, recreational park surrounded by beautiful mountains and villages. If you love nature, you would truly appreciate this place.

It is exactly what they say an\Eichhörnchenwald\. That is a squirrel's forrest. There were at least 6 running on to the path in front of us, very tame. Some great trash to follow, all with information boards. Over all a great few hours spent.

The website makes it seem like the squirrels will come close to you and even eat out of your hand, which is not the case. It is essentially a small wooded area, much like you'd see in any park in the world - i.e. it is nothing special. The scenery is nice and there is a good play area near by, so it wasn't a complete waste of time, but certainly not worth going out of your way to get there.
