Beautiful palace! We came here with a tour and everything was so well organized within the palace as well. The guided tour is the only option I believe and it's so worth it! There's so many interesting facts and tidbits about the mad king Ludwig and the tour gives you a new insight into the whole place. Note: Visited prior to COVID; things may have changed.

One of the popular palaces in Bavaria...the Linderhof Palace is beautiful and very well maintained just like the other palaces from King Ludwig II. This one is not as big as the others but really pretty with beautiful gardens, fountains, ponds, parks, flower clusters. The interior is absolutely stunning with intricate carvings, paintings and embroidery on the walls and ceilings. There are many gorgeous porcelain structures of vases, animals, birds etc. Taking the guided trip is the only way to get inside the main palace building and photography is not allowed inside. Rest everything is free to roam around. Highly recommended....top place!

It has been a while since I visited this amazing Palace and had a tour for this majestic palace with rich history! I was able to visit this place when it was covered in snow that the ambiance of this place absolutely jaw dropping! I was not able to film nor photograph of the rooms as we are not allowed to but you must visit to see it with your own eyes to be amazed! Great place for any history lovers and/or family with children! They have a great gift shop near by to take you a piece of Linderhof Palace after learning about such an amazing history!

Parking fee 2 for a car. Wonderful park although in winter fountains and statues are hidden by protections. Castle was closed because of Coronavirus. Anyway a walk in the park is a very nice experience.

This palace will not disappoint you from both inside and outside. Such a peaceful garden maintained and eye soothing architecture. It is under the Alps mountains and have a fantastic view from the garden top. There are some renovation taking place currently(Sep 2020) but will not disturb your visit.
