Such a wonderful place!! My husband and I attended a birthday party here. The meal that we all had was pre-arranged by our host, which compiled of several small plates throughout the evening. Let's start with the perfect bread twists on the tables with a side of herbed goat cheese. The owner handmakes the bread and it was so well flavored and light. We were brought plates of fresh, smoked mozzarella, served with slices of cranberry. The next course was a glass of fresh asparagus and orange soup. Now I have never been a fan of asparagus but I could honestly have this everyday. It was amazing! Afterwards came beautifully cooked scallops on a bed of fresh guacamole. My mouth is watering again just recounting all of this. Next up came the servings of veal with herbed sweet potatoes and a jalapeno. Now seperatly, these three things are nothing special but together....wow! I have so much respect for a chef that is so skilled and can create such explosions of flavor by pairing foods together so perfectly. The final course was a light and heavenly tasting strawberry and rhubarb marscapone dessert. If I call it heavenly, well that would just be an understatement. Can you all tell that I really enjoyed this place yet? Keep in mind from the photos that what we were served is small portions and not indicative of the portions that you will get when ordering from the menu. You will have all the beauty of the flavors, but on a larger scale. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. I cannot wait to try their grilled octopus. As if the food wasn't enough reason to go here, the owners are some of the nicest people we have met while living abroad. We felt like part of the family by the time the evening ended. Such a great dining experience! Go see for yourself.

The best restaurant I’ve been to in Esslingen. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was wonderful. Our waiter Matej made us feel special and at home. Definitely coming back!

An schönen Abenden ein Genuss an einem der schönsten Plätze in der Esslinger Altstadt. Das „Wölfles“ bietet mediterrane Küche auf sehr hohem Niveau, vor allem die Fischgerichte sind wunderbar. Auch die Weinauswahl ist sehr gut bei angemessen Preisen. Das draußen sitzen am Hafenmarkt hat eine lange Tradition und mit dem Wölfles ist wieder ein Garant dafür da, dass dies noch lange so bleibt!

Kleine, aber feine Karte, gute Weinauswahl, das Essen ist hervorragend und mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet. Wunderschönes Ambiente und sehr aufmerksamer und netter Service - was will man mehr? Wir kommen gerne wieder.
