Great place of Hiking. Beautiful scenery on the way. If you are a rookie, you won't be able to complete whole single day, but don't worry, you will get bus stops nearby in midways to return.

Really nice! It was the first time for me and my wife hiking here in Germany, and we are not used to this kind of activities, but even so this one was the perfect start for us. So many different places and landscapes. I recommend it to anyone. It will be my first one of many to come!
Nice walk in the countryside with some scenic view. Not very difficult but not suitable for elderly in some spots.

The first leg of the Eifelsteig isn't the most exciting. One of the taglines for the trail is “Just you, the water and the rocks”, and you won't see much of either. Sure there is the occasional stream to cross, and some hills, but most of the trail is across rolling pastures or forest areas. Not too shabby, but not what I was aiming for.
