TERRIBLE SERVICE AND INCREDIBLY RUDE OWNER. We were a group of 11 and had booked a table for a birthday dinner. It took us over 2hours to get any of the mains served and the staff did not really seemed to care. Some of the mushrooms in the pasta were not properly cleaned. After 3hours of being in the restaurant we finally got to order dessert to find out then that the waitress left for the night without placing our order. The owner was incredibly aggressive and disrepectful of a special evening. COMPLETELY AVOID

Had another wonderful meal here last night. Simple fresh dishes cooked to perfection. Excellent friendly and professional service. Always a treat to eat here.
Went there for lunch with two colleagues. We were the only customers and the service was still extraordinarily slow. Food was considering the amount and quality way too expensive even for a french restaurant (roughly 130 EUR). Will not go there over again. There are just too many great places I could spend my money without feeling ripped off afterwards.
Amazing kitchen and wonderful service! We had to wait a little bit for a table, but after the first course we realized why we had to wait! Thanks Andrej! Хвала!
Today we decided to go for lunch to Andrej's Oyster Bar & Restaurant, with my 2 girls and my husband. We were the only ones at the restaurant. One of my girls she was sleeping when we came in; so we laid her on the sofa. After a while, she woke up and unfortunately had a small accident in her pants on the sofa, I took her to the bathroom and she went to the toilet it was only a small accident. She was nervous and afraid but at the end all was okey. At this point we are just eating our entree and our main course is still cooking. The meal proceed and everything was okey until we asked for the bill. At this point, the waitress or the owner of the restaurant came to us and told us that we have to pay for the "accident". He explained that he will have to clean all the big sofa (not just the spot) and that the cost of it will be to much. The guy suggested that we could split the bill and that we would have to pay 150 euros extra to cover for the clean up. Of course, we were shocked and found this to be outrageous. Did someone else have any experience like this here in Düsseldorf?

From a variety of oysters incl. "Rockefeller" style as a starter to Tarte Tatin for dessert they serve excellent traditional french cuisine here in a beautifully renovated building in the heart of Düsseldorf. We shared a Bisque for starters, then the lady had the Dry-Aged Entrecôte accompanied by Ratatouille Provenҫale and I tried the Wiener Schnitzel with Frites Pommes Pont Neuf - yes, fish & crustaceans are their specialty but that evening we just wanted to have meat and they do that too and in an excellent way at that. For Dessert we shared a Tarte Tatin which comes with Sabayone, just gorgeous! Everything comes from France, the water, the gin and also all the meals are served in old-school cast-iron cocottes at your tabel, a rare experience nowadays! Incl. water, wine & coffee the evening set us back just over 100, not cheap but the quality they produce is well worth it IMHO. Will come back & try their specialty, the lobster press (only with 24 hours advance notice) next time!
Nice staff, really good seafood. Took ages to get the dinner though.
