When after long attempts my son and daughter-in-law finally had a child, my first grandson, I was very happy. Later when he was diagnosed with intestinal pathology, I decided to provide treatment at the highest level. Together with the son we searched information on the Internet, read reviews, thought where to turn. Probably the decisive role in the choice was played by the fact that clinic DRK-Krankenhaus in Altenkirchen has a great experience in performing surgical operations, including with congenital intestinal pathology. In general, we decided to go to Germany, tentatively agreed on a consultation, everything turned out to be organized very quickly. We really liked this clinic's personal and doctors, such a benevolent and calm persons, inspires confidence that everything will be fine. The check-up was started on the same day, the operation was scheduled to the next day. About the operation: I was very pleased that it was done endoscopically through a small incision. Of course, the size of the scar is not the main thing, but than it is smaller, the better. I was worried because of anesthesia, but modern drugs were used here, so there was no problem with anesthesia. In the hospital my daughter-in-law and my grandson stayed for a week, my son and I lived in an apartment near the clinic, this possibility is provided for relatives. After discharge we remained in Germany for another couple of days, I wanted to be sure that my grandson will normally transfer the flight. Now, passed 2 months, we can say confidently that the operation was successful. All problems are gone, and the grandson looks absolutely healthy.
