The place has decent facilities but wasn’t a great visit. Prices for rentals were higher than online and the desk didn’t have change for when we paid so you had to pay in exact change. The place is also not very well connected and is a bit difficult to get to without a car.
Very good sports center. Friendly and helpful staff, good facilities. The prices are slightly higher than they might be in other places.
A bit out of the way for anybody living in the centre of dresden, but the climbing and badminton facilities are good. I primarily play squash here and it would be great to see the courts being serviced and at least vacuumed or mopped now and then. Apart from this they have taken the initiative to finally replace the lighting on the courts at the back. The restaurant is a bit expensive expensive but the food and beer is very good!
(CLIMBING) Huge, but rather sterile hall. We didn't even find the lockers and the receptionists didn't bother explaining the layout (which is pretty confusing in its own right...) The two climbing areas are separated by a multi purpose space usually occupied by football teams. Quite loud, cold concrete floor, routes seem to focus on finger power rather than technical finesse. I'd recommend it, it might just be for you. Be sure to leave early as there is no warning whatsoever before the lights go out....
