Beautiful castle with a lot of foundations in tact that really gets the imagination going. Also gives a great view of the town and the Danube.

Very nice place. The ruins have a unique and very pleasant atmosphere and the view from the top is absolutely gorgeous. If you're nearby you should definitely check this place out. I’ve really enjoyed the visit and if I ever get the opportunity to visit it again I’ll definitely do so.

From the top of the hill there are very nice landscapes over the Danube, Donaustaf and Regensburg. You can let the car near the castle or you can let the car in the parking in Donaustaf and to walk to the castle. I have walked on the old street below the castle. I have walked up through the yard of the old church. You can visit into a tour of 1 hour and half the ruines of the castle and the Walhala. After you can take the launch at one of the restaurants from the Donaustaf.
