Unfortunately, they switched from delicious self-cut fries to rather generic (probably frozen) ones. The burgers are great but I do expect self-made Fries from a place like this (even if they cost more).

A real fun place in Essen with fantastic burgers. The management is fun and the interior is superb.
I was a bit disappointed by the midday Menu. The fries were burnt but still soggy (warmed up from a previous order?), the Assam ice tea tasted like coloured water with a slight hint of lemon and on the bacon cheese burger I had difficulties finding any bacon nor cheese. The barbecue sauce was over the top sweet and the mayonnaise tasted funny (I hope it wasn’t over the date). I gave two points for the juicy beef patty. Otherwise not an experience I will want to go for again. Most certainly not a scientifically good burger and fries! Sorry guys try again!
Very cozy & relaxing place. Delicious Gourmets Burgers and Home made Iced Tea! A little bit pricey though...but worth the price.
Previously I had good experiences at this burger place. Today, however, I had a very questionable pulled pork burger there. It did not look like pulled pork, definitely did not taste like pulled pork. I guess they should change it in the menu to chopped pork or something...
