So a guy working there couldn't manage to take multiple number tags at once and lost or misplaced the number tag of my friend but then made her pay 5 for it, even if it was his fault. I'm confused, what kind of logic is this
like
After having a great time at the club I went on to pick up my jacket and handbag... The guy working there leaned his hand towards my group so everyone layed their number tags in his hand. I LAYED 2 NUMBERS IN HIS HAND. He gave me my jacket but not my handbag. I was like \well can I have my handbag\ he was like \ where's your number tag\ and I was like \I just gave it to you\ and he was like o you didn't\... After a 5 min discussion he made me pay 5 for the number tag he lost/misplaced. Simply unfair.
If Club Velvet were not so much out of the way for me, I'd go there more often. The music is always cutting-edge, instead of the seemingly canned pop you get at other places. When I went there were rotating DJ's in two rooms- both bringing it big time. Both spaces had nice and subtle lighting. The people were welcoming, both staff and participants. I've heard that this is a 'crazy' club, but it seemed pretty chill when I went. I've been a couple of times and had good experiences. The bass can be so loud that you hear it from the street, but when you go in, it is not too intense. And the new sound system in their main room is both awesome and played at decent volumes. Approaching it, you would not expect to know what it is. But once inside, it's a top-notch club experience, if perhaps a bit out of the way for many. But isn't that what makes the cool clubs cool?
So.. my friend had to pay 5 for the lost/misplaced number tag, lost/misplaced by the guy working there... that's weird
Simply racist management
