If I could give this company a zero, I would. I booked a flight with STA travel a month ago specifically requesting a carrier, which does not make problems for musicians. I have flown for 15 years around the world with airlines such as Qantas, Ethiad, Emirates, Cathay, Singapore and have never had a problem with a clarinet and a saxophone...ever in my life, internationally. The flight is from Frankfurt to Sydney via Taipei. I rang this morning to reserve an aisle seat and the woman on the telephone was EXCEPTIONALLY RUDE and impolite. She said they would not accept instruments on board and that I would have to pay for an extra seat at the airport on Sunday when I arrive (2,000 Euros) :-) Or put my instruments (which have a value of 20,000 Euros) in with the rest of the luggage. The woman was aggressive, abusive and spoke over the top of me. This is my first experience with China Airlines and it will never be repeated in my lifetime - ever! Until now, nothing has been done to rectify this problem. This experience will be given further - WE ARE THE CUSTOMERS - WE PAY YOUR WAGES & company profits. Customers will not be treated like this. 0/5 Do not book with this airline!

Really unfriendly and rude customer service. Will never book with China Airlines again. Would give 0 points just for Frankfurt‘s customer office
The service is really bad. I don’t think I would take plane here any more. They are not polite especially to Asians.
