Beautiful botanical garden and probably one of the best in Germany! The maintenance is just top notch and it is indeed a great experience to walk through the flora here... Top place!

Nice place for anyone who is either interested in horticulture or botany. The main focus outside seems to be on trees, bushes and some water plants of Europe in general. So it's plants which are used to the climate and thus can survive in the area. You'll also find an area for herbs, salad plants and alike. Tropical or exotic plants outside the European area are limited. The botanical gardens also have a café inside which you can only enter by getting a ticket to the garden. On one side you'll also find the botanical institute of Bavaria.

Beautiful botanical garden, large area with various features, well curated and kept, various landscapes. Much nicer than the nymphenburg palace park, although entrance fee required. Take at least 1,5h for it, easily could spend here half a day.

How wonderful! Completely exceeded our expectations. In early September there were still a lot of flowers. Unforutnately due to covid the indoor exhibits were closed, but we could see an amazing cactus house from the outside, which we will absolutely return to see. The kids love the lily pad pond, I loved the amazing variety of trees. The cafe on-site is also very good, would very much recommend eating there - food and service were both top notch. Also near the cafe is a water sculpture/interactive fountain - the kids enjoyed playing with that for 30 minutes or so as we took a rest on the benches.

It's a beautiful place to get to know a lot of plant species. A lot of places from where you can get beautiful shots
