Rented a kayak and did the circle which starts with the wider river and then has some very nice forest parts and buildings on the sides. You have to carry the kayak some 50m at one point halfway to avoid a small weir. Took around 2 hours. Prices were good, cheaper than at other locations we had seen. Would really recommend it!

It's a nice, calm, canal with a option to use multiple kinds of boats, for example, kayaks, canoes, etc etc...
Beautiful place . Cheap price - 8 euro per hour. And very safety. Best place spend full day. You can try many type of boats. Also possible for groups and couples. View of park from boat is wonderfully. People who are living in Leipzig should come here every weekend. I spend my 2days here. Staff also is very friendly.
