Great museum with many animal specimens. The display cases are reasonably spaced apart from each other and do not make me feel cramped like some museums. The price is also very affordable for the numerous specimens this museum offers. In my opinion, 2 - 3 hours should be enough to enjoy the museum. All in all an evening well spent!

Very educational and modern exhibition. Entrance fee is low and there are discounts for the usual museum-discount-people. Most animals are stuffed in life-like postures and are themed by climate. Top floor also has cool dinosaurs! Easy to reach when walking by the Rhine, and a great place to spend 2-4 hours.

What a lovely place to visit when you are in Bonn! The museum costs 5 euros for adults to get in & 2.50 for students and other discounts. There are three stories of natural history to explore and marvel at. The most amazing thing is all the taxidermy animals- it does feel a bit strange to stare at so many dead animals (this is coming from a huge animal lover) but the species are all so wonderfully preserved that it is the closest that many of us will probably be to such creatures as Southern Elephant Seals or Giraffes. You can walk around and just look at some of the animals, or you can take your time and read all the descriptions that the museum has to offer. English and German are both available for most of the museum's written information.
