I had already printed three copies of my thesis and I just requested a soft cover and binding. I was told by a very unfriendly girl that, because my pages were not perfectly straight but (slightly) curved, it was not possible to get a good result and there was the risk that it would be rejected from the library. I then took my copies and went to another copy shop: no questions, no problems. After 3h they were ready and perfectly bound. So, I can deduce either of these two possibilities: - the woman didn't like I printed my own pages and wanted to convince me to print everything again; - she doesn't really know how to do her job. In either case, an excellent reason not to go there again.
