Great Customer service!! Please expand the menu.We also had the Howzit version of Nandos Chicken,It was quite flat and not as flavourful as expected. The decor and vibe was correct :) as we say it back home...giving us a lil Western Cape vibe, good place to catch a local game of football I saw the affiliation with the local team Arminia Bielefeld & we are hoping to catch some Rugby games there too.Musix from Johnny Clegg,Yvonne Chaka Chaka,Chiwoniso Mararire,Black Smith Mambaso,East Africa & North Africa can be heard in the background.Love the concept. The place is easily spotted from afar with the rainbow nation flag painted on the outside walls, bringing colour to that part of Bielefeld. Will definitely revisit & hope to get some truely South African flavoured meals. Oh and some of the home btrwed ciders and beets were available, wines and whiskey too! Love the place!!!

Home away from home! I am totally elated & blessed to have found this restaurant and met the owners & everyone who works there! The ambience of the restaurant is intimate, cozy, warm, well thought through and created with love, soul, passion & heart, giving it that real South African feeling! Joey & Max (the owners) and everyone who works there are very friendly, hospitable & make you feel very welcome & like family. The food is to die for, amazing & delicious! The portions are enough to make even the hungriest full & satisfied! Joey prepares all of the food with love, heart & soul, which you not only can taste but see as well . In my opinion, the food is even better than in South Africa because of Joey's special touch! Howzit has a variety of South African goodies available (Mrs. Balls chutney, biltong, droëwors, Simba chips, etc. & beverages (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) to satisfy your palette! Joey always goes out of her way to make you feel good & welcome, always wanting you to go back again & again. My daughters and I celebrated my oldest daughter's 16th birthday at Howzit. Joey & everyone working there went out of their way to make her birthday extra special! By far my absolute favorite place to go & my girls and I will always be back again and again and again!!!
