Ambience was really good. Food was average. Expected better than this after reading good reviews. Desert(Chocolate fondant) was really tasty though. Service was also average, was hard to get the attention of waiter/waitress. So 3 stars mostly for good desert.

Came a few weeks ago with a friend. We found that food was below average for the price. But our experience was mostly overwhelmed by the service. It seems to be a trend in this place as others complained about the service too. And really, it’s bad. The waitress really affected our experience poorly. She repeatedly forgot what we asked for, mixed up orders, took my plate away as I was putting a piece of food in my mouth - while my friend was still half through her plate. Couldn’t get her attention even though the place wasn’t full. We asked three times for water, which she agreed to bring but never brought. She seemed very much bothered by our presence. Which sums up her attitude. Will definitely not go again and would not recommend it for a lovely brunch place.
The design and ambiance of Spindler was very welcoming walking in. We sat inside because it was a little bit chilly and my mother didn't have a jacket. Little did we know the service would virtually ignore the inside completely and focus all their attention to those sitting outside. Then the halibut came, and it was incredibly overcooked. When we gave them feedback, they all but said it was our fault for not telling them sooner. No effort to recompense in any way shape or form was offered. Disappointing because expectations were high.
We walked from the train station to the restaurant. The neighbourhood is very chic . The restaurant is very romantic . It was middle of the week but not a single table was empty . We were on a double date . We started with cocktails and ordered a starter . Then for the first time I tried Guinea fowl . The food was delicious. the presentation was perfect with perfect proportions. We stayed and ordered drinks . Enjoyed the evening tremendously. Our host called a taxi for us . She is the best . I will definitely go back again ...
We had great evening here. Food was good and the atmosphere was nice. But the best of all was the service. Totally top notch and we were so looked after the whole evening.
