Visited the Serbian brunch on Sunday and was amazed by the quality and taste of the dishes. Even though it was late in the day, everything was still available, from starters to desserts. It’s a fresh approach to Serbian cuisine, preserving the classics and giving it a healthy modern twist. I especially recommend the desert, Zito, it’s original and extremely delicious. Don’t miss out on their wines, picked by the owner himself.

I had a beautiful evening with my family in a cozy and authentic restaurant with a Yugoslav (Serbian) backdrop and yet in Berlin style. I felt like I was back with a time machine in some good old times. The food is great and tasty, home made and prepared with love. The wine selection is great. In the wine selection will help you a person who knows in the core every kind of wine from Serbia and who is a true professional for it. I was surprised by the courtesy of the restaurants owner who came to our table and introduced us to the idea of \u200b\u200bcreating this restaurant. This is not a typical Serbian restaurant, this is an authentic Serbian restaurant. And if you want to visit a true Serbian restaurant and feel the real Serbian cuisine, this is the place you have to visit. Highly recommended!
This is one of the most beautiful and authentic restaurants in Berlin. We were greeted and treated like family and were given recommendations on the menu by the owner personally. The food was amazing, we sampled a lot of different tapas style dishes and had a big course each. The Serbian wine was also very special and complemented the dinner and atmosphere beautifully! Definitely a must go uf you are in Berlin, we will be back for sure.
Inovative and yet traditional place. Very cozy atmosphere, food prepared and served with care along with great, hospitable staff make Kafana a place to be. Would definitely go there again.
Kafana is a beautiful Restaurant/Bar located conveniently in Berlin, serving great Serbian "tapas & snacks" as well as traditional cuisine from the Balkans. And regular jam sessions are mesmerising. Come in and find out. A Great Place!
When it comes to international cuisines the Berliners like to look very far on their maps. But with Kafana they will get a chance to try the cooking from a country that is not even that far: Serbia. This lovely new restaurant also puts Wilmersdorf again on the map, this district has a lot going for it at the moment.
Warm and cozy atmosphere, with authentic wines and Serbian cuisine. Definitely worth a visit!
We already know about Lessendro on the Kollwitzplatz and were surprised that there is another one, which was recently opened. What is different is the calm atmosphere, ideal for a family or a business lunch, away from the bustle of tourists but with a distinctive quality of fish and seafood specialties. Very good wine and fresh fish have made our family visit to a beautiful experience. Always again!
