bartender had a horrible attitude and charged each in our group more drinks than we had actually had. atmosphere in the bar was nice and cocktails were fine, but if you have only one bartender in a cocktail bar on a weekend night, maybe hire someone who doesn't take that out on the customers. and don't advertise your "4 euro" cocktails happy hour all night if you charge each guest extra drinks they didn't have. can't believe I even tipped him. just don't go there.

My friends and I are university students studying German here for the summer and we went to BR101 to get some drinks a couple nights ago. We could not have been more displeased with the utter rudeness of the man who served us. At the end of the night, after we all took turns paying our portion of the bill and said thank you to the waiter, he very loudly in German said "you all drank almost 80 Euros worth of drinks and did not tip- don't ever come again!" before storming away. We were shocked at his attitude towards us, as we were going to put the tip on the table before leaving. One of my friends went back up to the counter where he was working to apologize and explain to him that we weren't from Germany- we've only been here for a short time and did not know that it was customary to let him 'keep the change' as tip. When told him we left the tip on the table, he responded once again in a very rude and loud tone and we should have known that this is the way it's done in Germany and told us again never to come back. Needless to say, we were all very put off by his behavior and the way he treated us. All in all, the cocktails were alright for the price, but no matter how good the drinks were, it was not worth the horrible service.

Great bar with extremely cheap and good cocktails! Friendly staff and even though I was here in winter, it was warm enough. maybe a bit crowded on weekends.

Really good cocktails. Perfect for chilling out after work. Basement seating place is really cool for private events.

do not come here in cold weather. they do not have good heaters or something in front of the door to prevent an overly refreshing breeze from coming through every time someone enters or exits, and you will freeze. Also the cocktails are not spectacular for the price, and I think the waitress was new because we never got the correct drinks when she finally served them.

A nice chill place to hang out with friends and have a good cocktail that won't empty your wallet after two or three. Cheap, tasty and the staff were great

Marely ok

Fairly cheap drinks and small. All cocktails are 4 euro in the evening. It was a bit out of the way from where we stayed.
