Regarding genuine Portuguese cuisine, Lata is always a safe place to fallback on when our mothers are not around. The friendly atmosphere and staff makes the journey around the small "petiscos" a satisfying experience. But if you feel brave enough, don't hesitate and go straight to the Francesinha and understand why Porto people are how they are.

Das Lata bietet eine kleine aber feine Karte mit ausgewählten portugiesischen Gerichten. Neben dem sehr zu empfehlenden Stockfisch sind auch die Gerichte vom Grill überaus delikat. Das Lata ist interessant eingerichtet mit einer Kombination aus Europaletten und Fischdosen. Die verschiedenen angebotenen Weine werden ansprechend präsentiert. Trotz der guten Küche und der gelungenen Einrichtung befinden sich alle Speisen im mittleren Preissegment.
Portugiesisches Essen. Einfach. Frisch. Lecker. Nicht perfekt und haute cuisine, aber ehrlich und gut. Hebt sich vom Restaurant-Einerlei in der Gegend angenehm ab.
