As Ethiopian definitely the Best Ethiopian restaurant in Berlin and for many great reasons. Their food is delicious and true to authentic Ethiopian recipes. I have introduced many of great friends here who have never tried Ethiopian before and they all have enjoyed the experience Lalibela offers. The restaurant Services are warm and friendly. Great peaceful vibes here.

Amazing food! It was the first time I ate Ethiopian food, and I was surprised of the flavours! The pancakes were super airy, and felt healthy. I recommend anyone to try this out! I tasted from my friends' dishes, and all were very flavourful!

This little restaurant in the heart of Neukölln had been on my want-to-go list for a while but didn’t really live up to my expectations. Despite an early reservation we had a really crumpled back-to-back table and there were quite a lot of people considering COVID. They do have nice seating outside but not really for me in a rainy autumn night. The menu has both meat and veggie/vegan options but it’s quite confusing to navigate. Thankfully the staff is happy to help. The antipasti was ok, I love lentils, but I somehow expected it to be crunchy and the sauce that came with it wasn’t great. The food platters for two look very beautiful, but if you’d don’t feel mixing up meat and veggies they serve a single portion that doesn’t do it justice. My veggie combination included different lentils, salad and pickled red beets. Ok but nothing special. The chicken beef option looked good but I cannot vouch for the taste. All in all I think I’ve been at better Ethiopian places in Berlin.

This is a lovely, warm, family-run restaurant. We always get the meat & veggi sampler for two and thoroughly enjoy it. The service was prompt despite the restaurant being packed. I highly recommend Lalibela if you like Ethiopian cuisine.
