I had a very positive experience at Hochzeitshaus Berlin. I arrived there after booking an appointment and first had a chat about my dream dress, budget and how my wedding day is planned. After this, I was only shown dresses that matched my taste unlike in many other bridal houses I have been to in Berlin. The prices of the dresses were extremely reasonable. I found my dream dress and felt absolutely great in it. Thank you so much for the friendly and professional support.

Wedding houses were built in the late Middle Ages and early modern times. The large buildings, which were built of half-timbering or stone, were planned and built to host weddings and baptisms. They were very popular during the Thirty Year war. Over time, however, these premises became too small to accommodate all guests of large middle-class families during such festivities.

I couldn't think of a more positive experience - the top floor shop/ boutique area is just beautiful and airy, lots of beautiful dresses to choose from (sorted by styles and sizes). The changing room area is spacious and makes you feel like a queen posing in front of a huge mirror while your companions sit nice and cosy on a wee sofa. Most importantly, Ms Mau was just the most wonderful assistant/ consultant - very patient, helpful running back and forth finding alternatives/ accessories, giving me time to breathe and reflect and made me feel very special like I am the only bride she has to look after for the rest of the day, always smiling despite all the heavy lifting of various dresses. At the end of a two hour appointment, I said yes to my dress and staff are just lovely now arranging for an appointment for a fitting and getting alterations done at the same day. Future brides - don't waste your time looking for dresses anywhere else ! :)
