It was so difficult to review this place because some things are good, some things not so much. Good things: kindly welcome with free beverages (water, the, or coffe), beautiful salon with bar connected, large bathroom and super large shower room, nice bedroom with a really comfortable bed (It's difficult to find comfortable for me) and breakfast incredible (salty, sweet and big choice for 9 or 7,90 if you book it in time). Bad things: in the salon there is continuously loud music and for so much time a lot of people (you can hear it in the bedroom when you sleep), maybe I didn't counted well, but it seems there are only 1 bathroom in the floor for 4-5 bedrooms (in my bedroom there was 10 beds, so, maybe too less bathrooms), non-adjustable shower and without handset, beds too close to each other, Wifi with some problems to view contents and towels too much expensive: 2,5 each.

Grand Hostel Berlin Classic is definitely the BEST hostel I've stayed in Europe! Super friendly reception, I even got a welcoming drink. I was really satisfied with the bed. It's huge and there's a shelf on the side so we have enough space to place personal stuff. The location is really convenient, 5 mins walk to the metro station. And the bathrooms are clean.
Best hostel I’ve ever been to!!!
The Hostel is locatated in Kreuzberg, which is really comfotable - the metro and public transport is near and the place is in a heart of bearlin. Rooms are huge, beds are really comfortable and we got lucky to have the great view. Breakfast is available, bar and lobby are exceptional. Highly recommended!
Great place to stay, even if it's simply for the breakfast downstairs! Hostel was immaculately clean!! And we loved the food downstairs so much we ate there every morning. Easy access to public transport and friendly staff to help with every need. Would highly recommend!
The good: Great hostel and a reasonable price! The staff was super helpful and nice! Comfortable beds! The bad: breakfast was advertised as all you can eat from 8-11am. There is a sign that says take your time. At was at the breakfast from 8-10. At 10am the worker told was told "you can't stay here and eat the entire time. You have had enough an need to leave". It was not nice and made me feel unwanted as I wasn't doing anything wrong.
Stayed here twice and would definitely stay again. The private rooms are great (one was nicer than the other) with comfy beds and multiple pillows. Bathrooms generally clean and there's a couple of toilets on each floor. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially Izzy (sorry not sure on spelling) and Joe. The alternative walking tour is excellent and I highly recommend doing it. The library and bar area is fun and lively, but you can't hear it upstairs. The other guests were nice and it doesn't seem to attract the obnoxious partying type of backpacker. It's super close to a train station and you can walk to lots of touristy things. It's also close to supermarkets and a small park. They will lock your bags up if you arrive early and you can print documents too. The only downside is no kitchen. It's great value for money and a wonderful place to stay.
Comfiest beds, everything was so clean and the service was amazing! Would recommend the hostel pub crawl if you are there on a Friday night, was THE best time.
