This was my first time in Berlin and first experience at Cinco, I use the word experience because that is indeed what it was. We chose the more expansive tasting menu with wine pairing and it was amazing! Every course was perfectly paired with wine and exclusively delicious. We took our time and enjoyed a luxurious three hour dinner which ended with a wonderful cheese selection. The serving staff was amazing, each course was served with respect, it was more a ceremony than a dinner, every wine was perfectly paired to each dish. Truly a culinary experience that will be remembered with fondness. Every star of this five star review was hard earned and easily offered with respect and thanks to the chef! A perfect evening!

For being a Michelin star restaurant, the food was not impressive. In my opinion, there's a level of posturing going on, and they need to try harder if they're going to keep their star through 2020
