Horrible service and very unfriendly staff, i wish i could give them negative star if at all it is available. we went there 3 times and everytime they asked different document . Now recently we went there with all possible documents and here is the new twist, they told us that we should know german. though we know little bit but still they didnt do anything. THE WORST SERVICE EVER. they didnt even speak well with you. they woman is very harsh and not at all good. if you are tourist and not able to speak german well please do not go to bootsverleih. please mention in your website that you want all the documents and german language certificate. berlin-bootscharter is way much better and good. they try to communicate with you as much as possible.

Our friend keeps his boat moored here at a very reasonable price.

When called to make sure that my reservation is still booked a day before, they suddenly told me that there are no more boats available. That's even though I called and emailed them

Good boats but the grills could have more coals

We got here by taking the S bahn to Koepernick and then the tram number 61 which stops directly outside. We rented a 2-er kayak here on a hot summer afternoon. Arrived at 1pm so it was not too busy. After a brief wait, was served by a friendly young lady who spoke fairly reasonable English. Renting a 2-er kayak was only 28 euros for the whole day, until 8pm. Went outside and got the kayak. Had to ask for a tub to keep things dry, but otherwise everything was very casual -- we weren't even obliged to wear lifejackets, though we could have them if we wanted to. We paddled some way across the Muegglesee to the other rental shop, which let us moor up and go ashore for a sandwich and a drink. Then we paddled back up the Muegelspree and moored somewhere for a swim.
